Moira Huntly was born in Motherwell. She
studied at the Harrow School of Art and Hornsey College of Art.She works in acrylics,
pastels, oils and watercolours. Moira has recently been
elected President of the Pastel Society
and is also an elected member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, the Royal
West of England Academy and the Royal Society of Marine Artists. She has received many
prestigious awards and has exhibited extensively in both solo and selected group
exhibitions. Her work can be found in both private and public collections in this country
and abroad. Her publications include "Painting in Mixed Media" "Learn to
Paint Gouache" "Learn to Draw Boats" and "The Artist's Drawing
