Jackie Philip was born in Edinburgh in 1961. She studied Art from 1978 to 1986 at Grays School of Art in Aberdeen, the Wimbledon School of Art and  the Royal Academy Schools. She gained a first class BA (Hons) Degree and an MA. She won a number of scholarships and travelled widely. Jackie has exhibited at The RA Summer Show, Waterman Fine Art, Thompson's  and Cadogan Contemporary in London,a nd at the Open Eye Gallery and the Stenton Gallery in Scotland
